Welcome to visit a traditional reindeer farm at lake Mäntyjärvi, Finnish Lapland!

You can find us in Rovaniemi, near the village of Sonka. Our farm is located ca 45 km from the center of Rovaniemi to West-North. Visit us for a day, or stay for a longer period in our beautiful log cabin with a stunning view to the lake Mäntyjärvi. Mäntyjärvi is an unique destination for traveller’s longing for pure nature and the peace in mind. 

In winter visitors have a chance to get to know and participate in reindeer herder’s daily tasks, for example feeding the reindeer. At the lake Mäntyjärvi visitors can go fishing and icefishing with the assistance of the hosts. The wilderness is right outside the cabin door. For motor sport ehnthusiastics the official snowmobiling route passes the cabin only 500 meters away. The location is also perfect for spotting the northern lights in winter season.

The accommodation packages will be tailored to match the clients personal needs. Possible extra services organized are, for example, reindeer safaris, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and traditional Finnish smoke sauna.
